Single-word domains are the most natural, memorable, and brandable form of a domain name. They carry inherent meaning, require no explanation, and work across languages and markets. Premium single-word .com domains regularly sell for five to seven figures.
How is this different from short domains?
Short domains are defined by character count (2-4 characters). Word domains are defined by being a real English word, regardless of length. A domain like "hub.com" would be classified as short (3 chars), not as a word domain. The two categories are mutually exclusive.
